What's the best way to ask someone out on a date?
I have been divorced for two years now. I like the lady in my office very much. We talk when we have projects we need to do together and we have many things in common. In fact, I'm half in love already with her. She's very friendly and smiles all the time. She has broken up with her boyfriend of 2 years for over six months now. Our office doesn't have any rules against employers dating each other. While I very much want to date her, it has been so long since I asked a lady out. What do you think is the best way to ask her out on a date?

I always say and personally believe that the best way to ask someone out on a date is to ask them. Don't overthink it, be confident and direct when you ask her out. You might want to keep it simple and straightforward, be nice and tell her you like her and you would like to go on a date with her. This shows that you know what you want. Please bear in mind that there's a probability of being rejected and that can be a good thing because you should not waste your time with someone who doesn't want to be with you. But I think that the way you handle a rejection can still give you an in to date her in the future. Lastly be yourself, the right girl will love you just as you are.
