Is it possible for me to homeschool my child?
To be specific, my husband and I recently gave birth to our third child. Due to the recent covid 19 pandemics, my husband lost his job and we are unable to support our children's schooling again as I am also a stay-at-home mother. One of my friends suggested we home school our children as this is also what they did when her husband lost his job also due to the pandemic. My husband is quite the nerd and I think this should be achievable. This will help to save us the little money we have for the family. I want to ask if it is possible to homeschool my children?

It is possible for you to home-school your kids, but it comes with its challenges. I’m also a stay-at-home who has been homeschooling my two kids for three years, so I know it is possible. You have to buy the curriculum that you will be teaching them, or at least a parents' guide so that you know what they are supposed to do. Also, a lot of places where you buy the curriculum sell each subject separately, which can add up if your kids are in different grades. But homeschooling is great because you can focus on the subjects that actually interest your kids and sprinkle in all of the core subjects throughout so that they are still learning everything. You really have to plan ahead of time, to make sure you have everything, but I feel that it’s worth it. You can also find a lot of different styles of curriculum out there so you can find the one that really works for your kids.
